Account Manager- Healthcare Events

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire event management & event management operations and developing global / regional communication strategies, advertising & promotions for the healthcare events
  • Manages the coordination, planning, logistics and execution of high profiled multi-day meetings, tradeshows, workshops, conferences, and events of complex scope.
  • Manage and execute strategy for meetings and tradeshows with marketing and all stakeholders.
  • Formulates and manages budgets, selects and coordinates the activities of vendors, presenters, sponsors and clients/customers.
  • Partners with marketing and communications to coordinate, plan and establish key strategies and objectives for the event.
  • Establishes vendor relationships to ensure quality service, competitive pricing, and responsiveness.
  • Completes necessary documentation including contracts, deposits, and correspondence, and makes sure contractual deadlines are met.
  • Manages the displays and graphics being used, development, and production access with marketing communications and manages vendor coordination for large tradeshows and meetings.
  • Communicate logistics and details to all attendees.
  • Manage special projects to enhance the department and workflow.
  • Manage a medium size conference, learning and training center.
  • Knowledge of planning and executing tradeshows, meetings and events in medical device and reporting requirements.

  • Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently.
  • Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events.
  • Able to travel up to 50%.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate and/or equivalent 6+ years’ experience. Medical/Pharmacy background will be preferred
  • Experience in planning and executing Medical/healthcare conference, CMEs, meetings and events.
